Simultaneously departed – Klara’s response and Martinus’ message after the hottest gossip of the after-party • Provides clarification: “Just friends”.
Martinus Gunnarsen and Klara Hammarström became the talk of the night.
The Melodifestival stars were captured in photos openly flirting into the early hours at the after-party.
“Very fun night!”, cryptically replied Klara Hammarström after the party.
Martinus Gunnarsen, 22, became the talk of the entire Melodifestivalen as the hottest single after Aftonbladet revealed he’s on Tinder.
When Martinus and his twin brother Marcus Gunnarsen went on to win the entire competition with the song “Unforgettable,” he was heavily courted at the after-party by Melodifestival star Klara Hammarström, 23, who had been the opening act during the brothers’ recent tour and who had been previously involved with hockey player Alexander Holtz.
Aftonbladet’s photographer was able to capture the flirtation in photo after photo well past the early hours. Additionally, they retrieved their jackets from the cloakroom and left the after-party together.
At that moment, Martinus took the opportunity to downplay the event to the photographer:
– We’re just talking, he said.
Stars’ responses after the speculation.
On Sunday, Klara Hammarström gave a cryptic response to Aftonbladet about the flirty photos:
“Very fun night!”, she writes in a text along with a clinking glasses emoji.
The images from the after-party have also garnered significant attention in Norwegian media, which reports on a “rumor of a Martinus flirt.” On Sunday afternoon, Hammarström gives a straightforward statement to the Norwegian VG.
– Martinus and I are just friends. They truly deserve the win! I’ve gotten to know the guys during the tour where I’ve been the opening act, so I know how hard they work, she tells the newspaper.
Martinus continues to play down the event and declines to comment on the photos as he believes there is nothing to comment on since nothing has happened between them, his press contact conveys to Aftonbladet.
Earlier on Saturday, Martinus was also captured in photos hugging and holding hands with Maria Sur, 19, but also denied that it was anything other than friendship.
